a) What is the modus operandi (method of operating) of the con artists?
The con artists uses the excuse that they are from the Lions Befrienders, wanting to help the elderly clean their flats, but instead, they search the house for money, and then take it. If the resident notices this, they will say that they will go to a nearby ATM and withdraw money for them.
b) What are the Lion Befrienders planning to do to ensure the old folks do not get conned again?
The spokesman of the Lions Befrienders will ask the new staff to be introduced to the people they visit by full-time workers or experienced volunteers, so the senior citizens recognise the people who visit them.

Question 2)
Do you like doing social work? Why or why not?
Yes. It gives me a sense of achievement when i help the elderly or do CIP to clean areas like the beach and the park near my school. However, I cant help but to feel a little disgusted when the area is extremely dirty. Other than that, it also feels good to offer help to people who need it, espically senior citizens. For example, if I saw an old man who has fallen off his bike, I would ask him if he was fine, and offer help if needed.
